Dress Emo Stuff. Nothing Feels Good: Punk Rock, Teenagers, And Goth.

Question: Why do all the kids dress emo when they are not depressed?

To me "emo: is a bunch of crap that was made up as a style.. if you're depressed why in the hell would you try show people you are by expressing yourself in such a manner... and everyone that claims to be "emo " aren't even depressed do you even know what depression really is? Half the kids that are "emo " laugh and play all the dang time so where exactly is the depression or emotional turmoil? ok so emo stands for emotioanl music I call bull ok because in that case to me every type of music is emotional.. but ok I thank you for giving me some insight to this

EMO IS A MUSIC GENRE OR A ABBREVIATION FOR EMOTIONAL. That's it. Get over it. Why people want to dress a certain way really shouldn't be any of your business, especially if you are going to be so judgmental as to expect someone to be "emo " just because they dress darkly. You can be depressed and dress however you like.

It's called a fad. Hopefully they'll grow out of it and grow up. Being emo is NOT cute.

Well they don't have to wear black it's just a sub-culture of goth. Though Emo kids listen to more depressing screamo music. Hate to stereotype but they do all act the same most of the time.

I think all this EMoooooo sh*t.. is bullsh*t and yea i know the correct spelling is EMO.. i dont care really.. because all these damn kids are tryin to be depressed and wear tight a*s cloths and things of that sort, and talk about EMO music suppose to be emotional, Come on people all music is emotional what the hell.. Think about it?????
