If you look goth/emo are your chances of being kidnapped lowered?
Im a 15 year old girl. I dress in a mix of that, and I'm always home alone. Well I need to go buy groceries. I live in Georgia, and it's a heavily populated area. Well I need to walk across the road four lanes, a cross walk and there's a strip of stores. Would it be safe to go? Also I live in an apartment complex, and it's heavily populated. It seems safe because the neighbors let their extremely young children run around supervised. I'm just really paranoid about doing it, should I chance it?

How to be emo? (im super sorry for labeling!)?
I know i know i know....labels r stupid and we shouldnt separate peopel by how they look but i couldnt think of another word Oanyways, im not emo but sometimes i feel like one. I feel like nobody respects and people always fel the need to put me down.And i know that 'alwa'ys' and 'never' are pretty strong words but seriously..and I know that a true emo doesnt go around labeling themselves, or showing off their scars, or is addicted to hottopic just cause its a 'dark' store. So i dont consider myself a poser because i dont do any of those things.I really like the style though. And not JUST the style of clothes, but the style of music too. Heres a little background info on me I have naturally black hairI have bangs and layersIm a little over five feet tallim so freaking skinn y that i cant wear bracelets without them falling off btw, i was born skinnySOME of my fave bands are paramore, panic at the disco, black veil brides, falling in reverse, and yeah hahaso my main question is, how can I look emo?once again, im not a poser cuz i dont call myself emo or anything like thatall help is appreciated I PUT THIS IN THE WRONG CATEGOREY I AM NOT LEZBO, GAY, OR TRANSGENDERED SORRY BOUT THAT O

People always call me emo or goth, WHY?
People ALWAYS call me emo or goth? but i don't understand please help me I mostly where skinny jeans, and like graphic T's with vans. I'm always quiet and my hair is long & & i have side bangs. I listen to ALL music, i listen to rap, metal, punk, pop, country, alternative, techno, rock, i listen to everything. But i still don't understand how people can just look at me and be like " Ewww, your emo" when i have NEVER talked to them

Not being the type of loser who'd get into a Facebook fight, I deleted the comment, blocked him, and moved on with my day, but it got me wondering, am I outdated? Come to think of it I haven't heard anything about goths OR emos in years. I don't know anybody else, not a single other person in my school of 1,600 kids, who dresses in all black. The only band I know of that's still popular and is considered emoish is Black Veil Brides, and they've lost popularity. Hot Topic sells Justin Bieber apparel... So am I the last of an almost extinct kind? Even if I am though, I don't care. I've been dressing like this for 3 years, it makes me comfortable and happy, and I'm going to keep dressing like this. i feel like im getting more and more depressed everyday and ive started listening to alot of screamo bands and started dressing darker as well what do i do ?also i dont feel like i have any control over it
Where can I meet scene/emo guys?
I live in a small town in northern Ireland and there isn't alot to do, so I just hang around the town with my friend or sometimes my 13 yr old sister. Anyway, I'm really attracted to scene and emo guys, there's just something about them that I love. My town is full of them but any time I see them they are always in a group and I want to become friends with them because I like the same kind of music and style and dress similar to them. I usually see them in the park or down " emo alley" as people in my town call it, it's basically just a shortcut with a nightclub and a barbers and a tattoo parlour, they usually hang out down there because it's the only place thats quiet during the day. I want to hang out with them, how can I? My friends aren't scene or emo and either amI but Im almost in the same style. Any tips on how to get scene or emo guys to talk to me?
