Question: Should i be emo or goth? 10 points!!!!?

I dont want to be a poser. I really want to join on of these groups. But i dont know wich one to join so if you could tell me which one i should join and why. And If you have good reason of why i should join it i will give you ten points. You can also include punk if you want Im srry but i disagree that ther for little teens or kids..... im not joking i really want to join a darker life style.....

LOL. I have to say it's an odd question and I agree with most of answers above. BE YOURSELF! If you can't be yourself... you have nothing. But since you seem hellbent on getting a decision I'm going to have to pick Goth. It's retro in a good way. Emo was really 5 years ago.... and certainly on it's way out. The "hardcore " emo's will evendually move towards goth since it was always the darker of the two. Emo has always been a "wanna-be " sort of fad anway IMHO. But above all else.... BEING YOURSELF WILL GET YOU FURTHER IN LIFE THAN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE.

I can't really tell you because i don't chill with you so i don't know what you would fit into and what you are like, etc. so just be yourself and you will naturally merge into a category that fits you. thats what happened to me. :)

You shouldnt want to be anything but yourself. if you need a label to define who you are as a person, then that is truely sad. stay true to you, dont be another label

Neither... be your self -_- I have changed my looks so many times, BUT I have stayed true to myself. DO what feels comfortable. Not what everyone else is. The one thing that no one likes, its a fake. Most people change there looks on the music they listen to. Punk music, emo music, goth music, rap music. SO you could go by that if you really wanted too

The fact that you have to pick which group to belong to is a clear sign that you're a poser.
