Question: Why do african american people hate on emo kids more than others.?

Maybe it's just me... but i get the feeling that especially african american female teens hate on emo kids more than anyone else. Thoughts?

I'm black (and a little german) and I get strange looks form black people all of the time. I will be minding my own business when groups of kids will start laughing at me and mocking me. But I have gotten that from preppy white kids to so lets not pretend black people are the only ones who hate emos badly. *Also I think Mexicans hate emos the most because of the riots and fighting that have gone on in Mexico.

Most teens are insecure and hate on everything, plus an African American female might not be use to emos whereas other people are use to seeing them. I don't make fun of anyone.

EMOS are just plain annoying, they go around and wine about how crappy they're lies are, like they've had to deal with serious hardships. bvesides i dont think its just black ppl who hate them and thats not true, lots of black ppl are tolerant of other people, im openly gay and socially accepted in my community in chicago stop being ignorant and turn off the tv.
