Emo Stuff. Nothing Feels Good: Punk Rock, Teenagers, And Goth.

Question: How do you know if you're emo, goth or scene?

People always ask me if I'm emo goth or scene but I never answer them cuz I don't know if I am. All I do is wear black all the time, I'm almost always sad depressed, and my hair looks kind of scene, and I like rock/ metal. So do you think im any of them? Please no rude comments.

This is a hard question to answer. People call me scene but then I listen to emo music so what does that make me? scemo? But with you I think you'd probably be a goth because you listen to metal. If people ask you what you are just say you don't label yourself (because people who label themselves are usually posers) x_O

There are many categories of emo. There is :Emo, Straightedge, Grindcore, Emocore, and Scene. So Emo and Scene can be classified as the same. It depends on the type of rock you enjoy. My Chemical Romance and Black Veil Brides type, you are definantly Emo. Mandragora Scream and Tarja Turunen, you are definantly goth. It also depends on how you feel. If you feel isolated from the world and fell that nobody understands you then you are emo. If you hate everyone because they arent like you then you are goth. I am emocore so I am into poetry and keep my hair longish. Hope this helped.
